MEET KECIA COPELAND
A NEW LEADER FOR OUR COMMUNITY
I am Kecia Copeland and I was born and raised in Bardstown, Kentucky. I am a proud graduate of the Bardstown Independent City School system. I received my undergraduate degree in Human Resource Management from Ashford University.
Bardstown is my home. Bardstown is my family's home. Bardstown is your home. As a small business owner, mother of three, and grandmother of five - I want to ensure our town is an inviting community for all people to live, work, and play. I am ready to listen to you and work together because a city as beautiful as Bardstown deserves a beautiful future as well.

Copeland has proudly served her country in United States Army.
As a small business owner, Kecia Copeland has a firsthand understanding of what it takes to make Bardstown a business-friendly city. Her business success and acumen have been important in shaping her leadership style as a competent and efficient consensus builder. In recent years, she launched Peachy Kleen, a residential cleaning service, serving many populations of Bardstown.
Copeland is committed to serving the community in variety of ways. She has recently served as a volunteer on a state election. She serves on the board of directors for the American Red Cross and is a member of the 25th class of Leadership Nelson County. While serving in the Army, Copeland was an active volunteer for the United Way and Susan G. Komen for the cure.
